Spicy Olives

I know that everyone is rushing around trying to find stuff for New Years Eve parties and I thought that I might help just a little bit. I got this recipe from an ex-family member but I always loved this at the holidays. I am not the biggest fan of green olives but enjoy the recipe. Now black olives I can open a can and eat the whole can in one sitting love them dearly.

Now buy everything to make a couple of batches and sit down and enjoy! And remember to SHARE!!!!

Spicy Olives
1-7 oz. jar olives
½ cup tomato juice
1 Tbsp olive oil
½ tsp crushed red pepper
2 garlic cloves, minced
½ tsp dried basil
½ tsp dried oregano

Drain olives of juice. Return to jar. Combine remaining ingredients in a small bowl and pour over olives. Refrigerate 3-10 days.

That sounds good.

One advantage to being SO pregnant at this time of year is thta no one expects me to make anything for the parties. LOL

Wow - I've had hot pickles but these sound great too.

Ps - I can sit and eat a full can of black ones too... I even up it one step and drink the juice sometimes. *gasp*

I love olives too. I almost ruined black olives for myself...before I knew I was pregnant I ate an entire can of them and was very very sick the next day (first day of morning sickness) and the last thing I could remember eating were those olives! I couldn't touch them the remainder of my pregnancy but my son loves black olives!
