spicy pretzel recipe
Spicy Pretzels
1 cup vegetable oil
1 package dry ranch dressing
1 teaspoon garlic salt
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
2 bag of pretzels ( I use the smaller kind. And it is the one pound bags)
Directions:
Mix together all ingredients except pretzels. This will take a while to get it dissolved good.
Put the pretzels in a paper bag and pour the mixture over the pretzels. Close the bag and shake until well coated. Lay on a cookie sheet or on paper for 30-45 minutes. Store in airtight container.
I have seen some recipes where you place it on a cookie sheet and bake, uncovered at 200 degrees but I like the way it is without the baking.
This is a recipe to make and share with friends!!!!

What would you do if you were sitting there trying to do homework?????
And Sasha was staring at you like this????
I had to cuddle with her a little bit and then had to get back to doing homework. So she decided that there was no way she was going to let me do homework. So then this is where she ended up...... She is laying between the arm of the couch and myself, sitting with my laptop on the couch. It is difficult to do the homework with her lying like that.
This is where Roxy ended up.
She is on the other couch and she doesn't bother me most of the time. If she isn't laying like the above picture, she is stretched out. I know that it looks uncomfortable but she seems to like it. It is hard to do my homework when the adorable girls are wanting my attention!
And everyone wonders why we have waited to have kids???? The dark brown eyes looking at me over the book is bad enough, imagine if they could do more than look and bark at me???? Like actually speaking? That would just absolutely rock my world and make it impossible to complete. So now back to the homework.... If I can manage to stop Sasha from looking at me!

This is what my husband is doing to day.
I am at home doing homework and will go to watch the weigh-in in a couple of hours. I am so proud of him for striving to continue to do what he loves. In fact, I am somewhat jealous right now since I am stuck, inside, doing homework. But it will all pay off in the end. Hopefully this tournament will be a good one for them!

Sorry, so sorry.....
I was going to do better at blogging but this nasty junk going around has kicked my behind! I went to the clinic here a little over a week ago and then went back this week too. I *got* to have chest x-rays both times and the verdict was bronchitis the first time and worse bronchitis the second time. Yay for me! I did a Z-Pack the first time and now am on an oral steroid and breathing treatments. I just wanna feel better. The reason I finally went to the doctor is B. He has been hospitalized now for a week and a half with strep pneumonia. He is undergoing a 7 day round of strong antibiotics and will hopefully be out by this weekend. At two and a half, this has been rough on his body and mom and dad. I am just glad that he is feeling better and not lethargic.
Little AJ is just growing. I have been going through withdrawal since I haven't gotten to see her but her mom has kept sending me pictures so I can keep up. She is almost 10 pounds now!!! They grow up so quick!
School is going good. I have been doing homework nonstop but I know there is an end goal.... I keep telling myself that at least! Well, I will try to do better about updating :)

"Her name is YaYa... I lub her"
I have a two and a half year old brother-in-law, B. He is a doll and I have always been a sucker for those eyes. I held him right after he was born and he has had me wrapped around his little finger. I got a text from him mom tonight that made me smile.
"B was telling me about his girlfriend and he loves her. I asked him
what his girlfriends name was... He said "yaya...I lub her.""
Is that not precious. Of course I sent one back that says that I "lub" him too. And the next text that came back was " of course he has been running a fever for two days so he could be delirious". Nice huh! But I love the fact that he loves me that much! Both of these kids are amazing and I do "LUB" them so much.
L couldn't say me name so I became known as YaYa and absolutely love it! Do you have any cute stories about little ones or funny nicknames that they call you? Tell me about it!
